To whom it may concern,
We recently engaged the services of Ascend Construction to extend our existing factory and have pleasure in writing this recommendation and reference regarding both their performance and reliability. The extension was 600 sqm of fully tilt-slab building with 2 main roller door entrances and complete concrete yardworks.
The project was somewhat challenging for them in that during the course of the addition they had to accommodate our external factory machinery which was critical to the continuation of our business and therefore had to remain within the building confines and be built around without disruption. This required close communication between us and them as to timing of its servicing and removal. Ascend worked around this obstacle and accommodated us without any questions and with accurate timing down to the last half day when we finally could remove it.
Initially we requested a timeframe of construction as we had dates we had to meet, and they gave us 102 days of construction. Beginning in mid October, and with Christmas disruptions fast approaching, this was always going to be a challenge. However, the commitment to their word was always paramount and I would have to highly recommend the staff for their diligence, the result being that their contract was finished well ahead of schedule in 80 days, even with the Christmas break in the middle.
I have had several neighbours comment to me that they have been very impressed with the way the project had gone compared to others they had observed.
Manager Ben Hamlin’s word is his promise and he has kept it throughout the entire project. He has been a pleasure to work with as has been his team of builders.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him and his company for further building projects.
